Calf Scramble (2011)

Rules and Regulations
- Open to all male and females in Middlesex County who have reached their fourteenth birthday, but not their twenty-first birthday, by October 1st, 2011.
- Interested contestants should notify Chelsey Manning 519-235-3276 or cmanning@live.ca with name, address and age, by September 28th, 2011.The first twenty names received will be accepted.
- Each applicant must have the affidavit signed by applicant and a parent or guardian which absolves the Ilderton Agricultural Society of any liability as a result of possible injury or accident while participating in this event.
- All participants shall provide and wear suitable head gear with attached full face shield.
- In order to be a successful entrant, the male or female must have the calf haltered properly and led accross the designated finishing line. Any calf held will be considered caught; no interference or assistance will be permitted unless the calf becomes totally free. Should a haltered calf become free, the halter will be removed and that calf will be set free.
- Unnecessary roughness will not be tolerated; contestants will be disqualified and calf will be set free.
- The committee’s decision will be final.
Successful entrants will receive a cash prize.
